Anyone know of a bluetooth cordless phone?

I’m looking for a cordless phone (not a cell phone) that will:

  • Not interfere with 802.11b/g
  • Support bluetooth headsets (so I can walk around with phone on hip)
  • Bluetooth to OS X for caller ID lookup, and maybe syncing (some) #s to phone

Anyone have any ideas?

I’d like to know if one exists as well. While looking for a new cordless, I could not find a decent 900MHz digital (Sony got out of the telephone business but big time into cell phone business). I reluctantly bought a cheap Panasonic 2.4GHz.

The new Panasonic 5.8GHz with it’s frequency hopping is said by the company not to interfere with wireless networks but it has something I don’t need, an answering machine. I am quite happy with Verizon voicemail.

Still, a Bluetooth cordless would be very cool. Wonder if Siemens is working on one?

I would also be interested in this. I have a Jabra FreeSpeak headset and would like to use it with a landline phone. In fact, even if it wasn’t cordless, if it is bluetooth, that would be awesome.

I don’t know if this works with OS X or interferes with 802.11, but it does work with the Jabra FreeSpeak headset (they have a version with the FreeSpeak bundled):
