You only need to do this if you use DHCP and you’ve enabled sshd and you’ve enabled root. I think there’s some other ands, but still, the point is. Many people are not affected.
I’m not affected unless I go to a friends house (where I’ll use DHCP). But I’m there for such a short period, someone would have to be lying in wait for me.
It’s not enough to make me rush to fix the problems. Apple will ship a fix long before it becomes a concern for me.
