I’ve posted some pictures from breakfast this morning. It was much fun, with some english, some german, and a lot of talk about politics in the US, which is very good.

Henning and Petra are headed to Cape Town, South Africa in a Land Rover. The trip will take 10 months and they have been planning the trip for 5 years. I wish them the safest of travels!

Rain, rain rain. Martin and I had another 3 hour breakfast which was quite nice. I spent the day working and chatting with friends, watching it rain. It was pretty cold but bearable

Saturday evening, Martin and Jeannette went to the cinemas. When they returned, we went to their favorite pub, Kuca, and met up with Carson, Henning, Petra, Gunnar and Anja. The food was good and the tequila sunrise was great. I also had “Grapefruit und Wassa, which is watered down grapefruit juice. I think this is similar to what we get in the states normally.

After much smoke inhalation and some very good guitar/violin music, we headed home. I was up until about 3am chatting and catching up with friends.

It is raining fairly hard here - Hey I left Portland, didn’t I??? Can’t really go out shooting pictures in this.
