Hopefully this evidence will get the Apple store to replace the fan. I know they have the parts now 
I took it there originally because I had to leave the next day for my trip. They heard it, but said it was “in spec” yet ordered the fans anyway.
Who thinks this is “in spec?”
Update:
I called the store and they said that since my machine was in last week, they’ve had two others come in with bad fans. So I took it in, had lunch and when I got back, the machine was repaired.

I need replacement fans for a 17″ mac book pro where the left fan went out am service repair tech cant get a vendor to supply me with them please help

No idea, I had Apple do mine. You did get AppleCare, right?

go to ifixit.com i swear by those folks. they are 50$ a piece and includes instructions. my MBP is out of warranty and was overheating due to a dead left fan so I replaced both.

ifixit.com are used fans…. or “refreshed” units…. I need new fans
