My unsecured laptop was stolen 18 months ago and I signed up for the service to make sure that my identity wasn't being stolen.</p> <p>It did alert me to a black flag Chase Bank added to my record when an unauthorized charge was made while I was on vacation for a month. It's a card I NEVER use, so I wasn't expecting a bill. They reversed the late charge when I called and did not remove the black flag.
