About Scully
Jan 9, 1999 - Ok, people want to know just what sort of computer Scully is, at least as she was ordered.First off, for people who don't know much about the new G3s, they all come with a kickass case, ATI Rage 128 GL graphics on board, with 16 megs of video memory, 100 mhz system bus, 3 64 bit 33 mhz PCI slots, one 32 bit 66 mhz PCI slot (used by the video card), two USB ports, two Firewire (Sony iLink) ports, 10/100 Ethernet, iMac keyboard and mouse, etc etc.
Now Scully has specific to her:
- Smokin 400 mhz G3 processor with a 1MB backside cache running at 200 mhz. (Stick that in your file cabinet and set it on fire, Mulder)
- Internal Zip drive
- DVD ROM and MEPG 2 video decoder
- 128 megs of PC 100 memory
- 12 gigabyte Ultra ATA hard drive
